I discovered the website of the talented Hetty Rose about a year ago and I have been visiting the site ever since. Hetty Rose creates the most beautiful bespoke shoes using exquisite vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. The kimono fabrics are bright and luxuriant in detail, and each has its own story since the patterns are very symbolic.

A graduate of London College of Fashion, Hetty is leaving her footprint on the fashion scene with her eco-friendly philosophy of reusing vintage fabrics in a sustainable way to create her stylish Kimono collections which are all handmade to order. The new Kimono 2 Collection launched April 2008, includes some fab bags to complement this timeless collection.
